Bouncy country lanes, potholes, probably going a little fast... then...

Electrical Problems, smell of burning...

So I pull over and switch off. Nothing wrong under the bonnet...

Battery? Ah...

The back seat had come loose and fallen on to the battery. Full short!

The moral is obvious...
