A huge thank you to everyone who attended yesterday’s Summer Gathering. Almost 150 people and approximately 60 Triple-M cars joined us at Greenacres which was fantastic. It was lovely to see so many overseas visitors this year, thank you so much for making such an effort to attend.

Special thanks to our wonderful band of helpers, we could not have done it without you. Thank you also to Philip and Rosemary Bayne-Powell for manning yet again the very successful bring and buy stand.

If anyone has any photos from the day that they would like to share, please could you either email them to me or post directly on this thread. I will add some of my own very soon!

Yes, Elizabeth. A perfect day and beautiful weather. Even though the PA was not quite ready, the MGB served us well. Many thanks to Andrew nd yourself and your indispensable band of helpers.

Many thanks Elizabeth, Andrew, family and helpers. Anita and I enjoyed the day enormously; it was fantastic to meet so many old and new friends, Facebook friends too..! We’re certainly looking forward to future years and hopefully a similar event ‘up north’.. :-)

Your faces say it all Elizabeth.
Probably the largest MMM Gathering of the year, (certainly in the UK ) :)

Mark Boldry posted this one on Facebook which I thought was so brilliant! Look at those smiley faces! What a wonderful family!

Koen Struijk posted this one:

From Thijs de Groot comes this shot of the Honourable J1, myself and savvy navi Rob Constant just before setting second fastest time on the test, Dutch style:

And here's one from me of Ties Verbruggen's 8-year-old son Mats in charge of the steering wheel:

All four Dutch Triple-Ms behaved impeccably on the way there and back (from and back to Harwich) and what a blast did we have at the Gathering. Good to be back at Greenacres, I loved every minute! Thank you again, dear Elizabeth & Co, bl**ming well done! Your dear Dad would have been so proud!

Cheers

A few of my pictures.

Digby presenting Ron and Barbara Warr with the John Kidder Trophy. The trophy was jointly awarded to Ron and Barbara and Tony and Ruth Richards to recognise their huge contribution in organising the Stilton and Pork Pie Touring Event.
