 Seeking information about a picture of an MG

I have just seen this car ( FS 3020) in a film called ‘ Appointment in London.’
The film, dated 1954, is about a Lancaster bomber crew.
I cannot find any record of the car in the Triple-M- Register.
Can anyone throw any light on the car?

F1034. Black with blue upholstery. Sold through Scottish Motor Traction in Edinburgh to a J Young of Kirkaldy in Fife. Seemingly nowt else known of it.
