Saw a picture of L 0578 as sold by RM Sotheby in 2007.
Does anyone know the presene owner ?
I'am very interested in this L.

I check the DVLA follow link.
Nothing.Could be out of the UK or just off the road.
https://www.gov.uk/get-vehicle-information-from-dvla

The MMM Register lists the car.
Web site and paper versions.
Last recorded owner is George Ponder in the USA.
I would contact the car sub-register through the LINKS option on this site.
The last option is a direct email.
A delicate proposition for obvious reasons.

Just found the other thread on this topic.
Gene Ponder- Not George as stated.
Does not appear to be a posting member.
Also problems with email address.
This one very much down to the forum.

Was not Gene Ponder a big time "Collector of Cars" somewhere in the Southern States? Probably not even on the Forum?

Yes, Gene was and is a big collector of MGs. He was the one who sold the only NB Airline Coupe back a few years ago for record amounts of money. He is located in Texas and still has a significant collection. He is not on the forum and is not even still a current member of the NAMMMR,
