Anyone got a TAPER FIT shaft for a J2?
Original setup was a keyed parallel shaft, recent shafts have a taper fit onto the drive yoke below.
Taper fitting is a much better design, but not available at the moment from S & V.

Hello Brian
When you refer to 'recent' shafts, the taper design was fitted to P type onwards during the 1930s.
Vintage MG Parts.com always carry these shafts in stock although are sold as a matched pair ie tapered pinion with J cam gear.
