Fantastic car - now if I had only won the lottery.

I recently received some photos of this car from Andrew Fock in Australia, they are posted in the pictures page for the car.

One picture attached - the car even has it's gigantic Zoller fitted - boost must be in the 20s psi?

£264K to you Sir.....I'd love that beasty in my garage but alas a tad more than I was looking to spend....LOL......you got to give Moss Green a round of applause though for a beautiful and well executed catalogue....nearly every car in it is British......LOL......thank god for good old Blighty and the motorsport pioneering spirit.....Hussar

Must be quite difficult determining how much of the car is still original!
But perhaps that doesn't matter?...............in this case?

The chassis is almost certainly the same one that was sold by Abingdon to Cec Warren in Melbourne, Australia in 1934 and the car has had an illustrious and documented racing history since that time. It is thought to be on its second or third body now and the current engine although fully up to Q spec is not one of the original Works Q engine series. Undoubtedly it is a very desirable car and offers more history than a number of K3s at a fraction of the price.

Well based on what I know I guess I am surprised as it's a great opportunity. A lot of money of course but I d have a Q over any other MG. Just my preference!

Surprised as they don't come along very often!

The www.prewar.com web site states “Too late”, perhaps the car sold after the auction?

I would love to see it running with that large Zoller fitted!
