The impression I have is that, occasionally, say once every few months, I am required to re-sign in to the Forum. I normally access direct from a stored page in teh Browser (Chrome) to the Forum/Active Topics. Since the system remembers my name and password, it is just a single click to restore full access.

I had the same experience on my iPad, Ian, but more like once a week and the browser didn’t retain the login details and I always had to log in manually. This seems to have been fixed with the new login page and no doubt Nick will be along to explain it in due course.
Edit: I spoke too soon. It’s back to the old system and my iPad doesn’t remember the login details. Very odd. Nick?

My experience is the same as Ian's. The only downside to not being logged in is that I cannot post; I can still read everything.
I just tried logging out and then back in. Where normally as soon as I get as far as "Oz..", it says, "Oz34"?, this time it did not.
I've just tried closing my browser (Firefox) and then re-opening it followed by the Forum. I'm straight back in.

Apologies to all. The sign in requirement was triggered accidentally by me whilst I was working on a small modification and I forgot to return the website completely to its proper configuration. All should be back to normal now.
