I have had this remote in my garage for many years and am now trying to find out to which vehicle it was originally fitted. The interface is correct for a Wolseley box. The overall length is about 2" shorter than a J2 remote. Could it be off a Wolseley? From a Hornet? Perhaps an after market fitment for an M? Jeremy J4227

The remote is from a Wolseley Hornet Special. If it is like the example below the hole on the side is for mounting a lever which operates a free wheel device.

Hi Jeremy, I have a Wolseley Hornet Special gearbox without a remote, so would be interested in buying your remote if it could be available. Regards, David |

Sam, Thank you very much for that information and the excellent photos. I had often wondered whether it was off a Wolseley, but having owned a Wasp which did not have a remote, I thought it might well have belonged to another make in the Morris empire. David, Yes, I would be interested in selling it. I will send you an e mail. Jeremy J4227 |

Adrian, Thank you for the information about this remote.
As I have no need for this remote, I have sold it on to David Kempton
