Our ever diligent webmaster Nick Feakes is carrying out a data reconciliation to ensure that MGCC Members can access that area of the Forum.
In the process it is just possible that bona fide Club Members may find that they are temporarily unable to access it. Any Member who is unable to do so should contact me or Nick so we can reinstate them.
It would help all of us if MGCC Members with Triple-M cars could ensure that they have informed the Club's membership secretary, Liz Allsworth at Kimber House of the cars they own (or perhaps no longer own!!)
Liz is always super helpful and can be reached at lizallsworth@mgcc.co.uk

In addition to Dick's request about cars you own, I have found many instances of different email addresses on the MGCC list against those held on our database. I do appreciate how difficult it is to remember to whom we have given our email address but it would really help if when you change your email address, you would update your email address in your profile here and also on the MGCC website.

An explanation.
I was asked to update the access list for the "Members only" forum. I received a list from the parent club of current MGCC members who were also MMM forum members.
This has proved to be not much use for my purpose as it is in fact a list of MGCC members who also declared they owned a MMM car at the time of joining.
It did not include those who:
1. did not own a MMM car when they joined and now do own one but did not inform the MGCC
2. did own a MMM car when they joined the club but sold it and did inform the club
3. did not own a MMM car when they joined the club and still do not
Access to the "Members only" forum was deleted for all those in the above categories when I ran the update as they did not appear on the list sent by the club. Also deleted were those members of affiliated clubs.
