A Puzzle.

Pictured below is a photo taken from one of the period mortoring mags. I have forgotten which one. Perhaps some one can remind me.

The quiz being what's the location? I stumbled across the place a couple of years ago.

Without naming the location how many of you know where it is? Just reply "Yes".
That will give others the chance to compete.
After a few days I'll post photos that I took. Perhaps it will give further clues.

Brian.

I can think of a couple of places, but there's not enough background info to convince me.

Thought that Colin may know, as it may be north of the boarder! If not NO!
However, can you tell me the registration number of the car from the original picture, please???

Like Colin I have 2 locations in mind, the first and most likely, must not give the game away! The second just over 40 years ago late morning we opened a small bottle of Champagne as we waited for the ferry in M.G. YB1281 during our honeymoon.

Mike. The photo in the Mag. was very poor.
I did enlarge it and cleaned it up as best I could, to no avail.

Another clue tomorrow..................

After an hour touring Scotland on Google Earth, I believe I've eliminated at least half a dozen possibilities, including my first choice! Barbara and I now have a decision, but we're not claiming it's correct. I'll let you know when we see the next clue.

You could well be right, Paul, but that's well beyond my ken, so I'll leave that suggestion to others.

Don't think it's the same place. Anyway, it'll give you another guessing game when you've finished the existing one.

Clue number one.

To be fair to others only say Yes.
I'll post other clues later.
Meanwhile enjoy the scenery..............

Brian.
