I am the (french) owner of this running J2, Register n° 3409. J2195 was commissioned in sept 1932, and then, it seems, directly exported to France through UM in London. Swept wings and P-style front apron are not original, as the metric bolts and fittings suggest, though they were fitted very early, as traces of rust suggest !
I shall add that the J2 was registered in UK between 1975 and 1981 (WLP 5765). I am interested by any trace of this car. Any information ?
And I am also interested, from a more general point of view, by any information related to MG's exported to France.
Photos of 1963-64 and 1968 attached (and sorry for the poor quality of the documents, as I don't have the originals).
