I wonder if a new heading on people s restorations .This could help with motivation and progress with cars. They could post photos as well. Regards Pat |

Sounds like a good idea to me. Is there any support for Pat's idea? Nick

Why not make it a “your car” section. That way one can also include maintenance or modifications on their cars

Do it. The more info, the better.

This sounds like a great idea, and I love Onno's idea... It could generate a lot of interest and enthusiasm :)

Do you think there might be an issue if someone makes an adverse comment about a particular modification or choice? Nick

Not more of an issue than in any other thread I think

Excellent idea.
It may make it easier to follow if there is a section for each model, and then a thread for each car (by chassis number?).

If you do not see the new forum, look top left of the dark brown banner with "FORUM" in white lettering. You will see a yellow folder icon. Click on that and you will see the new forum. Or, with this forum open, look top left at the forum tree and click on "All forums"

I like it Nick, but doesn't cover the broader suggestion of Onno, which I thought was a very good suggestion

I would not go to the trouble of separate sections for every type as this will lead to inevitable discussion of someone who posts their K3 lookalike under K and not N chassis. Just ask everyone to name their thread with the chassis nr

An interesting idea but I’m not sure limiting it initially to just Ds and Ms will be a good guide to its success as there are very few D Types around so there might not be many contributors to that Forum.

Onno Let me play with the idea. I will try and order them alphabetically, otherwise it will be hard to find a particular chassis number. Nick

Hi everyone Id and heading by chassisnumber would make searches much more precise. Positive!
