I have set up a new forum (not visible yet). The forum sorts posts by chassis number. Mostly, I think it will work well except for some of the M types.
Most have chassis numbers 2M... but I see some on the Register with the chassis numbers CM....
These entries will come after the C-types.
If the chassis numbers of these cars are listed (for this forum only) as 2CM.... they will be listed with all the other M-types.
Is that acceptable?
If so, I will put a note on the forum introduction so that it is clear what this means.

Tried to find on both of your suggestions

I am still working on the new forum. There are just a couple of issues to resolve concerning M-type chassis numbering before we can go live

How about just asking members to leave out the ‘C’ rather than put them in the C type section. The chassis numbers are consecutive anyway.

Good idea, I like it. Not being familiar with the M-types, I wasn't aware the numbers were consecutive overall.
