Going back to the start of this thread, do the two pictures make better sense now?





The one on the right at the start of the thread was printed the wrong way round.

I only just noticed this discussion. Simon suggested the unidentified J2 may be J2312 three years ago, and he is dead right!!

The J2 is definitely J 2312 a very well known car in NZ, which was competed for many years by Garth Bagnall in supercharged form. J2312 was originally sold to a Miss P Rudd who lived in Wellington. Lots about this car on the NZ MMM register record: MGclub.org.nz/information/MG registers/Ptypes
